Well guys, it’s that time of year when I start thinking about fundraising!! Truth be known I’ve normally got an events date set by now but this year I’ve had people approach me. Firstly to ask what crazy event do I have planned for this year, and secondly people have approached me with their own plans of what they are doing for fundraising!!!

On a very snowy 16 December, over 200 people turned out to support the Chromosome 18 Research and Registry Christmas Party. The event was organised by our very own Cheryl Donlan, who had devoted a large part of her (very limited) spare time to sourcing trees, decorations, crackers and goodies for the various raffles and auctions in the lead up to the main event, selling tickets and organising pretty much the whole thing!

It was while sitting at the first Ch18 European conference in Glasgow being told about the Ch18 Europe’s accounts, that I decided I had to do a fundraiser for our small but perfectly formed charity.

Just Some of The amazing Fundraising Events From This Year So Far
Tom Wilson recently had all the hair on his head shaved off, and raised an amazing £820..25 for Chromosome 18 Europe. An incredibly brave thing to do, especially when he’s just 11. What a star!
