First of all a big thank you to everyone who came to the rainy day family meet up on 24/11. I think everyone had a great time. My older children were reluctant to come but had a fabulous time. So, I look forward to arranging the next one.
Special thank you to Steve who at the last minute found us an indoor venue.

Calling all UK based members - Let's meet up in Manchester on Saturday October 6th
Having had such a successful Conference in Milan in July, those of us who were lucky enough to attend decided that we wanted to meet up more than every two years. We also wanted to give those of you who couldn't make Conference the opportunity for a face to face get together so we can start to pull together as a UK group, not just on email and facebook.

Dr. Chris Steele, MBE, Becomes Patron Of Chromosome 18 Registry and Research Society Europe.
TV Doctor and freelance physician, Dr Chris Steele has become the patron of The Chromosome 18 Registry And Research Society Europe.
His two year old great nephew, George Donlan, is affected by Ring 18.

Annual General Meeting
Sunday November 20th, 2011
20.00hrs Greenwich Mean Time.
We will be holding our AGM as a conference call, using Conference Genie. To achieve a quorum, we need at least 21 people to participate in the meeting. The details of how we use Conference Genie for the call is linked. It won’t take long.
The reports of the Convenor, Secretary and Treasurer are also attached to this email, and will be on the web-site for everyone to read one week before the meeting.
